Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Duty shift app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices created by Mateusz Moc.

1. No Data Collection

The Application does not collect, process, or transmit any personal data, IP addresses, device identifiers, or usage statistics to external servers.

All data entered by the User (such as voyage names, crew names, phone numbers, notes) is stored exclusively locally on the User’s device.

2. Location Data (GPS)

The Application requests access to location solely for the purpose of the „Logbook” feature.

  • Location data (coordinates, speed, course) is retrieved only when a watch change is automatically recorded or when a manual log entry is made.
  • This data is stored locally in the database on your phone.
  • The Application does not track your location in the background for marketing or analytical purposes.

3. Data Sharing

The Service Provider has no access to your data. Data is not shared with any third parties.

Data leaves your device only when you explicitly use the export features available in the Application, such as:

  • Generating a PDF file with the crew list.
  • Sending a voyage file (.wachty) via email or messenger to another person.

4. Permissions

The Application may request the following permissions for specific purposes:

  • Location: Only to record coordinates in the voyage log.
  • Notifications: Only for local notifications about upcoming watch changes (alarm).

  • Camera: used solely to scan a QR code containing the settings of a created voyage.

5. Security

Since the Application operates offline and does not connect to external databases, your data is as secure as your mobile device.
